1 cheese slice, 6:30pm on a Sunday, $2.90 Pros: Big, hearty slice with a crispy crunch. Adequately sauced, good flavor. Very nicely browned crust, delicious coastline. Fair price considering it's bountiful size. Cons: First few bites had a bit of reheated cheese taste, but each bite was better thereafter. Just a little flop but there wouldn't be any if the slice weren't such a large beast Verdict: This is a quality pizza place. One slice is a meal in itself. Lot of bread in here but it's crisp enough that you cant call it doughy. They cooked it proper. If I walked in for a fresh slice, this would be an 8.

Served hot in 3-4 minutes with a hard Ridgefield crisp and a massive Rt. 35 flop. First bite score: 6.6 The sauce is very fresh and vibrant with zero tang or seasoning. The mozzarella is middle of the road and soupy. The dough recipe is hit & miss. The undercarriage is professionally charred but too thick and chewy. The crust is spongy and uninspired. The cheese : sauce ratio is very unbalanced. Sub score: 6.1 This oversized mammoth slice could touch the high 6.0’s by reducing the size, improving the seasoning and salinity levels. They have mastered the charred undercarriage but the other elements desperately need attention! Final score...
