I LOVE this pizza... One bite, I give this a solid 8.5. It's hotn a bit of flop but the sauce is good, the cheese is good and the bread isn't burnt. It's a solid slice for my taste.

Solid, a little greasy, but good all the way around. Would eat again.

Crispy undercarriage but besides that it has nothing going for it. Somehow dry and oily at the same time.

Gotta try the upsidedown. Good call Lorenzo, VIPizza’s known for this signature slice and no question it’s killer. The undercarriage is crispy and the crust is very pliable and pillowy. Layered a top the dough is a melty layer of cheese covered in the amazing herbacious rich sauce. It’s the reason you come here and the reason people have been coming here for like 60 years?! Very fresh tasting and killer flavor complex, this has become my style of pie over the last few years so I’m a much tougher judge on these and this place delivers!!! Get to Bayside and see for yourself!!!

Dry and overcooked!!! That’s the theme at VI when it comes to their regular slice. As soon as I got handed the slice, I knew we were in for an oil bath. Very oily, needed 3 napkins to pat it down. Zero flop, but that’s because the slice was beyond burnt. Everything about this slice was over done. However, if your here, grab the grandma or upside slice. Those def are high class slices. Very tasty and crispy. Pass on the cheese go grandma here!!!! Enjoy!

My go to place. VIP is simply the best, cannot go wrong with a Sicilian slice, or 3…

Very greasy and floppy. Needs some more crisp. Ok taste. Nothing to write home about.

Cheese is always outstanding, and the sauce terrific. Consistency is the key to the Sicilian Pizza.

Ok Bayside NY, pizza review time. I knew already they are up there on top of the food chain when it comes to pizza. 1. Haven't been here in over 10 years but things are still just like I remember it. 2. Nice good quality, well put together slice. Could not say a single bad thing about it. 3. It really represents a true NY pizzeria. They are above average but I am keeping it to a very food score but not a great score. There is slight room for improvement but can't say exactly what it is. 4. Extra bonus, I tried their famous "upside down sicilian" but wasn't my cup of tea, too much acidic tasting sauce. 5. My rating is 8.1 ( on regular slice) ( 6.3 on the sicilian)

Very tasty pizza. The source has lots of flavor the crust is thin and crispy.

my favorite pizza hands down Growing up in flushing near franny lewis blvd, i would pass at least 5 joints to get to this corner spot on Bell still stop by every time i am in queens visiting or after a long flight arriving at LGA

Upside down was very good had a nice crisp. The cheese slice is just regular. 6.7 for the cheese

Perfect balance of sauce and cheese. Perfectly crispy crust and not overly doughy. This is the slice to get at VIP

Where the hell is the flavor on this slice???? I taste absolutely nothing. So disappointed.

A very solid slice of pizza. Well done undercarriage. Slight grease drip but nothing major. Well done undercarriage. And a good crisp on the crust.

Upside Down is way better then the regular sicilian Upsode down 8.2 Sicilian 7.1
