Great Chicago style tavern pie in Seattle.
I grew up on tavern style pizza in the Midwest and this is the first time I found anything like it on the West coast. The the crest was cracker thin just like it should be but the edges were a bit caramelized which is a nice bonus. The taste was very, very good. Good sauce, quality cheese and both the pepperoni and the Italian sausage were very good.
I'm not scoring the deep dish but we had that as well. I thought it was really good. The only better one that I found in Seattle is Windy City pie on Phinney Ridge. I'll be back to this place, though, for the tavern style. Really good.
