Pizza Review
I’m torn as to whether Margherita counts as a gold medal slice because of the basil (probably not) but in any case this is the best slice at Wiseguy. The sauce tastes fresh with good acid/sweet balance, cheese is nice, great crisp on the dough. Unfortunately the cheese slice just isn’t that good here no matter how much I want it to be and how many times I try it. It’s a low 6. The sauce just tastes tinny/metallic and the cheese doesn’t pop. The crust saves it.
