Alright Frankie really excited about this one (pizza review time Jan 4th 2021 -> 12:00)... we are at ZA PIZZA -> one bite everyone knows the rules -> Sauce is sweet -> lil garlic kick-> it seeps all the way into the crust -> and the crust suffers due to this -> it’s still very tasty but it isn’t crispy at all -> it might be because this is one of those stone oven pizzas that gets cooked in 90 seconds and from our experience with the pizzas that are cooked in 90 seconds -> they are always very good -> but they always suffer from a flop and a weak crust-> besides that -> undercarriage was on point with the perfect char -> like beyond perfect Frankie -> Those dough bubbles that pop up in the middle of the pizza-> that are rare and oh so good to be able to experience! This pizza had nice dough bubbles with black and tops and the top of the pizza crust was charred so perfectly that you wished that it (the crust) had the crisp that it needed to get a score into the 8’s... even when pinched -> perfect -> like when judging any fancy pizza -> el’Presidente —-> usually doesn’t hold the flop against the fancy pizza like he would when judging other pizzas so we did our best to pinch this slice so that there would be no flop and we have pulled this off with Neapolitan‘s in the past like at Goodfellas pizza in Streetsville which we scored a 6.7-6.8 and we consider to be our favourite pizza in the entire West End of Toronto-> when we hold Good fellas Neapolitan pizza in a particular way and Pinch the slice -> we can actually get a good fellas pizza slice -> to not flop-> that wasn’t the case here Frankie no matter how we held this ZA pizza there was a major flop-> el’Presidente would call this fancy pizza without a doubt! The oil drizzled on-top with the pesto oil flavour was over powering -> but good -> but we feel the various oils are adding to the soggy crust -> fancy pizza usually doesn’t get above a 6.9-> our favourite west end pizza GoodFellas got a 6.9—> but that’s a sexual number (and this is a kids show)-> so we were forced to give GoodFellas a 6.8-> This pizza here -> ZA PIZZA ——> the pesto was great -> but over powering (some would call it greasy pesto pizza Frankie - I wouldn’t - some would - I wouldn’t)... this Pizza -> ZA PIZZA -> 7.2.... I deducted one point full point for the soggy crust -> this could’ve been a 8.2 if it wasn’t this soggy -> maybe it’s a problem brought on by the 90 seconds they cooked it Frankie or ? It the various oils drizzled that made the crust NOT crispy at all - we bite it -> score it and we ate super honest (1 to 10 / one bite / everyone knows the rules / bite it / score it -> 1 thru 10 ->) ..... this place Frankie ? is on par with becoming our new favourite west end pizza -> Inspired by the neapolitan style pizza, their goal is to bring premium fast fired pizza to their customers to enrich their foodie experience. Handcrafted by their pizza pros with quality ingredients and cooked in a record time of 90 seconds in their fast fired Milano Oven, custom-made (that was imported from Italy btw) -> Frankie their signature premium pizzas are engineered to appease the taste buds of all their customers... and it does just that -> we loved our pizza and ate the entire thing and we will be back -> the price is on point -> the staff are super professional->7.2-> that’s a high score -> but a deserved score -> like we said this might be our new fave 7.2 )professional score) ZA Pizza ! -> that’s a review!
