Zee’s Pizzeria

It was good, it was good…i got 2 slices on a Saturday afternoon. My wife asked ‘is the crust deep fried?’ We all know that’s not a thing….the next night we got ice cream at the place next door, everybody walking out of Zee’s swears it’s the best. I’m a snob…I’ll stand with it was good. If yer in the Big Easy, it’s the place for a a good slice!!!

This might be the unofficial best pizza in Louisiana. I know Dave scored this a 7.7, but I think he even knows he underscored it. Maybe he didn’t want people to know that such a high level of East coast pizza could be acquired down south. You don’t even have to say well done, they just nail it. From the overall flavor, to the slight charring of the undercarriage, this pizza is worth the travel. This is why I’m scoring for the first time ever in the 9’s. 👊🏻🤌🏻

MAKE THE TRIP!! THIS PLACE IS THE BEST IN TOWN! We ordered pep and sausage to appease our toddler and it did NOT DISAPPOINT! We ended up ordering a Red Top (margarita style) slice and the score reflects that slice. The pizza was just as amazing. The undercarriage was so crisp with zero flop. The sauce complimented every flavor added to it. On top of incredible food, the staff and owner made us feel so welcome. The owner is so passionate about his food and focused on a customer experience. It was an easy trip from Bourbon street!

Good sauce and cheese and the crust was to die for! Great overall pizza and meeting Zee was the cherry on top! Highly recommend

Well worth the drive. Perfect sauce with a great crisp and undercarriage. Toppings were fresh and on point. The crust though was what made this pizza complete. Staff was awesome also. Worth the stop check them out.

Came to Zees from the French Quarter just to try the pizza. It was much better then expected and better then Dave’s rating!! It’s up to par with some of the best New York pizza. Great pizza!!

Great Pizza! No flop, nice undercarriage, and an awesome crispy crust that makes the entire experience when paired with your favorite toppings. Had the Top red marg and bambino pies when I was in the new establishment that was just opened recently. Definitely worth going to this place again when I’m back in the city.
