Vodka sauce upside down. Solid pie. The cheese is awesome too. For a a spot in Virginia this delivers like a spot in NYC.

Cheese and undercarriage were good. Fair price for a big slice. Not a fan of how burnt the crust was.

Undercarriage was deceiving because had some flop. In need of a little crisp and a little greasy but flavor was good

Another good pizza near Richmond. Needs a little less flop and less grease. The taste is amazing! If they had a coal oven it would be in the 8s for sure.

I’m not quite understanding the 8+ scores on here. I think Richmond is just very desperate for such a place. But, it isn’t. Don’t get me wrong, it’s good. But, there’s a lot more to it than some “crisp and no flop” to make a good pizza. (A lot of people playing Dave). I think it’s good, but I’m not at all convinced it’s worth saying it’s more than a “good solid hometown pizza” (my imitation of Dave). It is crispy, and it does taste good. The Grandma was the obvious winner to me, over the cheese. The cheese was very bland until about 3/4 to the crust end of the pie, and then you get some good flavor. I recommend it, for sure. Just don’t go into it thinking 8+, or you’re likely to be disappointed.

Almost Like A Pizza Pie (Cheese). Great undercarriage, flaky and crispy pastry crust with a slightly sweeter sauce. Easily the best pizza in Richmond.

Awesome pizza 🙂 Started as a food truck and morphed into the restaurant. Still good. They do a lot of different pizzas, but their standard cheese is the best.

Good slice, but not the best in rva. Crust is fluffy and chewy, doesn’t have that crisp to it. It has some flop..Overall it looks much better than it really is. There are other pizza joints in the city that are half the cost and deliver a better pie.

Best pizza in Richmond, hands down. Sauce is brilliant, crust is crisp, no complaints. Highly recommend trying the Upside Down.
