Pres missed the mark a little bit here but still very good. Thing was flopping around like a fish out of water. Taste and crust were low 9’s. Tighten it up and this one would’ve lived up to the hype

Very, very good pizza. 9.3 is a bit crazy, but this is a star regardless. The sauce is insanely good, and the crust was perfect. The one main flaw… the flop. Surprising given a solid undercarriage as well, but insanely floppy - very little crisp other than the crust. Overall, great pizza, had potential to go higher.

Fantastic, almost as good as John’s of Bleeker Street.

One bite festival sadly even tho Dave gave 9.3 I strongly disagree at least off the festival slice

Don’t know if they had an off day but the pizza was nowhere near 8.7. Crust was super dry and zero flop

Absolutely phenominal pie. The crust was a little doughy, otherwise exceptional.

Very solid pizza with amazing cheese and sauce with a pretty good crust, crust was a little crunchy but overall amazing piece of pizza

I had very high expectations in this and it delivered. Solid char in the crust with great sauce and proper amount of cheese.

They removed the coal oven…. The spirit is gone, f*** nyc laws….. still good tho

Tried on a recommendation. Crispy crust that wasn’t too thick. Sauce had a great taste and worth the stop. Opted for a 13” for a quick lunch for two but I’d recommend going 17”.

Tasted great but the pizza crust was way to big, needed more sauce and cheese coverage.

Great crust, sauce def had a tang to it. Good pizza overall

Did a review a few months ago that was higher! NYC has changed some BS law about coal and brick ovens! So no more coal fired pizza. Still excellent just not the same!!! No more brick ovens :(

Really really good pizza, only the cheese could have been better for me. But sauce and dough are perfect.

On 07/16/24 | had an OLD SCHOOL ROUND 13" Half Pepperoni

Visited NYC and stopped by this place. The atmosphere is great. Ordered prosciutto and arugula on the pizza. Amazing! Also try the NY Style Cheesecake for dessert.
