To be fair, I saw Dave’s review of Angelo’s pizza before trying it and I think that it set up some very high expectations.
As far as the pizza is concerned, very crispy crust with a pleasantly floppy center and super stringy cheese. I opted to add sun-dried tomatoes and ricotta - I believe that additional saltiness could transform this pizza to a level 9+ pizza.
All in all, it was a great pizza but I’ve had better, albeit only once or twice.
