To be fair, I saw Dave’s review of Angelo’s pizza before trying it and I think that it set up some very high expectations. As far as the pizza is concerned, very crispy crust with a pleasantly floppy center and super stringy cheese. I opted to add sun-dried tomatoes and ricotta - I believe that additional saltiness could transform this pizza to a level 9+ pizza. All in all, it was a great pizza but I’ve had better, albeit only once or twice.

Very good pizza! Instant orgasm after first bite. Expensive however arguably one of the best crusts I had ever had highly recommend with the money

We got the 13” so maybe the pizza would have tasted better had we got the full size 17” pie? Unique taste.. almost a cinnamon taste in the crust...

Like El Prez said...a solid slice. 9.1 and my little guy says 9.3. We’ve been touring NYC this week hitting the big pizza spots. John’s of Bleeker still tops.

Very good sauce If it was slightly doughier it would be in the 9s

Everybody knows the rules...no pizza is a 10. This is my first review so it’s not a 9 either. Gotta to leave room. Excelente pizza nevertheless.

Visited New York last week and came to Angelo’s 3 times. Surpassed expectations!

Good not great. Don’t get the hype. Not a 9 handle - that’s for sure

Good crispy crust, a lot of flop, and the basil was a nice flavor.

Sauce might be one of the best I’ve had. Cheese was good and dough was cooked perfectly. Pepperoni was the nice ones that cup the grease and added great flavor to the pepperoni slice.
