I’ve tried to come here a couple of times usually finding out they’re closed, but today Bakeria 1010 was opened. Portnoy missed out when he was up and down the Jersey shore giving out pizza reviews (although not his style of pizza, he’s entertaining nonetheless but I don’t always agree on Dave’s scoring).
As to the review, margarita “Gourmet Bread” style pizza, a cross between Sicilian and Detroit (cheese to edges)
Could use a bit more sauce for me, but excellent slices. I can tell the craftsmanship the owner puts into the dough (bravo). Only negative for me is the burned cheese on the edge (not a knock, a lot of people like that, I just personally don’t)
Best pizza you’re going to find down the Jersey shore. A must try… (btw wifey gave it a 10).
