Pizza Review
I'd like to preface. If you've read my other pizza reviews, you know I do not like crumbled Italian sausage whatsoever. I apologize for my ignorance when I ordered it here. I'd like to give this place 2 stars because I do not believe crumbled sausage has a place on any pizza, but had I not ordered it and just pepperoni, I'm giving it a 3 at best. This is a NY style little spot and pumps out slices. I ordered a pepperoni and Italian sausage Neapolitan thin crust pizza. There was nothing wrong with it, but lacked any standout points. The flavor was boring and forgettable, but nothing was necessarily executed wrongly. I did enjoy the crust. It was just slightly less thin than true NY style, but still has a great fold. The sauce was scarce and had little flavor. There was a good amount of cheese and other toppings. I will echo what I said in my other reviews and above; crumbled sausage tastes dry and gritty on a pizza. It does not have an appealing texture. If you like it, all the power to you; not for me though. I'd probably throw this into the category of great drunk pizza. Convenient slices, greasy, cheesey, and ample size. I'll probably try it again if I'm walking past and grab a pepperoni slice only, but I won't go out of my way given there a few other much better NY style slices close in the area.
