Calabria Pizza & Pasta

Went by a couple pizzerias nearby the same day to try them out. I think this is in keeping with most places nearby, which for me all rate in the 6s and 7s unless they really mess up my pie/slice. I bought a slice late afternoon Sunday. Browned underside but medium well done on the crust not crispy, thin to the point my slice torn a bit, not too big of a cornicione, fairly good ratio of sauce to cheese. I’d prefer more sauce. The notable thing was the sauce. It’s tangy not sweet San Marzano or herby with oregano or basil but you can taste the crushed bits of tomato and whiffs of the tomato paste flavor. The amount of mozzarella weighed the slice down to tear it. Which is a fail construction-wise but it tasted fine. Wasn’t too greasy. Like I said, interchangeably about as average as any pizzerias a few miles in either direction.
