Not like any pizza you've ever had, so difficult to compare. Definitely need to dine in to get the full experience. Place is super quaint and cozy, the menu is super simple, but it's a Chicago staple and a must for all visitors. Would recommend 👌👍

The Half-Pound Pizza Pot Pie. I had the vegetarian style sauce with no mushrooms. Definitely unique - but worth trying. The sauce is distinct and with the cheese it provides a ton of flavor. The buttery crust is stellar. Really cool the way they deliver it to you too with how it’s flipped upside down.

Probably will be the only place I ever give 10 out of 10. The dough is cooked to perfection. Fresh button mushrooms with delicious brick cheese, and both the original and vegetable sauces are great. Wonderful pizza pot pies and a wonderful experience.

Not your typical slice, but one of the freshest pizza’s I’ve ever had. Don’t normally like mushrooms but loved them in this. Worth the wait!

The presentation is very unique. The crust isn’t crispy at all; taste like wonder bread but with no flavor. They use a different cheese rather than mozzarella. I can tell you there’s a reason others stick with mozzarella - because it’s works. But compliments to Chef Ragu - the sauce and meat are identical to what I get from the store. Make sure to eat it while you’re here b/c leftovers would knock the score down by 2 points.

Probably one of the most unusually awesome pies that I’ve ever tossed down my neck! I had this little thing that came in a bowl, made with meat sauce, flipped upside down into a white bread bowl form and then eatable in such form appearing as a mini pizza with a great many ingredients inside. Shaking a touch of Romano and their special combo of additional sprinkles that they bring to the table makes this quite amazing! ...as an appetizer, the tear-off bread is killer!

Really wouldn’t consider this a pizza, more of a pot pie. There are two options: meat sauce or no meat sauce and mushrooms or no mushrooms. Besides that you get onions, garlic, and tomatoes in here. I thought it was pretty decent. Seems like a neighborhood spot that got some recognition by chicks on Instagram and then blew up.

Pizza Pot Pie Review... In Chicago on business, thought I’d try this unique pizza (as opposed to deep dish Chicago favorites). I had high expectations because it’s Monday and there’s a 45 min wait. Decided to order take out and shave 20 mins off the wait time. I wanted to like it, but not impressed at all. Meat sauce would be better served over pasta. Hold the bread that taste like diner roll.

Not sure this is even fair as it’s not a true pizza but pizza pot pie has it all. Di** fallen off Frankie type stuff right here. Until I have something better this is my highest rated pizza to date.

Very good because it is something different, you don’t see a pizza pot pie everywhere. The wait is ridiculous.
