Pizza Review
Alright Franky, down in Plantation at the Pepe's down here. This is a tough review because having been to the original in New Haven I have to base it off that. Now, I am fully aware how the water up north makes the difference in NY/CT pizza.....thing is, the crust is not the issue, its actually cooked perfectly, good char, very New Haven-esk....my issue is there is no flavor. I taste fresh tomatoes but no flavor. No zing, no punch. Working in this area, I wanted it to be good, I ignored all other reviews, including Dave's score..... 7.3, and mind you, it's as low as it is based on the original New Haven location, but at the same time, it is also based in comparison to the other New Haven style pizzerias I've gone to in South Florida 7.3 That's a review
