They’re back!!! After about a year or more Fuoco reopened this week with a new coal oven ready to go and man did it live up to the hype I’ve been waiting for. The mozz up around here is always on another level and has the same flavor and zing that all the heavy hitters do as well as a crust that’s charred with a great undercarriage, leoparding all over like I love. But the sauce….my god it’s on another planet, one of the best in my personal taste, it has that zing you look for, such a fresh taste. Perfect ratio and combo, all three phases compliment each other leading to me crushing the entire 18” pie in less than ten minutes and it retains its heat very well. Staff and owner incredible people, so friendly and happy to be there and the place itself has a great feel inside. This is a pizzadventure worth the 3 hour drive each way and one I’ll for sure be back for as the oven seasons in, every pie will make the next one that little bit better.
