Fuoco Apizza

Dry, dry, dry. the only flavor I can taste was burnt bread. No tomato flavor, no cheese flavor just burnt.

Got the classic New Haven Style Pizza & it really did taste like a classic new haven styled pizza. Sauce was sweet & it passed the finger test. Would go again! French fries were also 10/10- crispy & crunchy

Had a mozz pie and the “Rustic”. Score is a composite. Solid leopard spotted under carriage. Good crisp. Paper thin crust. Sauce and cheese are good. I really liked the flavor combo of the rustic.

Definitely delicious pizza a little too much flop for my personal preference but the taste was phenomenal

3rd pizza on the Pizza Tour from Florida. Good pizza! Nice and thin, very floppy tho. Really Good taste, not great Just the integrity could be improved but I am a snob for pizza lol so 8.4 it is.

Really good sauce. Love the char. Wish it held a bit tighter though.

Undercarriage a little thick

I went here after Dave made his Connecticut tour back in the late spring 23. Dave gave it 8.5 but this is even better. Dave under-rated in my opinion. 9.0 baby! This was right there with Modern and Pepe’s and just a finger nail down from Sally’s. It just doesn’t get much better than this. By the way, there’s not alot of room inside the restaurant. And it have become a shrine to Portnoy. SMH.

Great pizza, great service. The crust is thin but not crispy. The sauce is delicious, and it pairs great with a Kola.

A DAMN good pizza! These guys don’t mess around. I’m very impressed with how good the pizza is. The taste is absolutely phenomenal. Some of the best tasting sauce I’ve had before. Reasonable prices. Very clean establishment. The owner seems very passionate and has the right vision for this place. Hats off to Fuoco Apizza!

Sauce was bland, but not a bad taste.

Waited a long time to visit and finally made it on our way up to New Hampshire. Got to hang out with George and talk about heavy metal and visit the sick guitar store next door. This is a must travel for pizza. Go get some! Be well George!

Surprising flop but otherwise great New Haven style pie

Good crunch to it

After all the hype and prez’s 8.5 review I finally made it here to Fuoco. I would say on looks alone this pie is a high 8’s and I had high hopes of this being an all time favorite. Alas while it’s a great pie I thought the overall flavor just didn’t match up to my favorites. Don’t get me wrong it’s delicious but it’s just missing the little extra umph. Pizza was a little greasy and for thin crust it was chewy not crispy and I got fresh right out of the oven. Either way if you are in the Cheshire area do not hesitate to try Fuoco out. I’m betting my next pie will be better from an already great pie.

Cook on it is great! Cool spot.
