A must try if visiting NY but hard to score. More Neapolitan vibe than I thought it would be, meaning despite the perfectly charred undercarriage and crispy ends, the dough was soft and chewy. Very comparable to Modern in New Haven. The toppings we got on half (cherry peppers, pepperoni, basil) were nothing special, but the sweet sauce, flavorful cheese, and fresh crust were all perfect, and the vibe inside and our waiter were exactly what you want in an old school Manhattan wheel joint. I wanted to give in the 9s but the flop and mid toppings prevented it. But this is being picky… it’s a top 10 NYC spot and I won’t argue with anyone who says it’s their favorite.
