John's Pizzeria of Times Square

I’m probably not going to win over a lot of people with this review. An 8.4 is what Dave Portnoy himself gave this place. I had very high expectations going in, unfortunately, the pizza just did not wow me. Maybe it was just ours in particular, but it seemed a bit doughy. The sauce was good, it had a fresh taste, but nothing overwhelming. Overall, for me, it was just an average pizza. I think if the pizza had been cooked well done, it might be a whole point higher. If anyone decides to go here, maybe ask for your pizza to be well done.
