Midnight Oil

The quality of pizza has improved greatly over the last 5 years in Nashville and there’s plenty of good spots but Midnight Oil stands out from the crowd as one of the top spots. Get a side of the cheesy bread.

Sweet Heat! Amazing. Crust was perfect perfect balance of sweet and spicy.

I wanted to love this pizza. Unfortunately it was the worst pizza I’ve had in Nashville, maybe even ever. The cheese was some sort of congealed mess that fused together like wallpaper glue. You could scalp this entire topping like peeling open an old school fruit-by-the-foot and be left with a the weird crust. The dough itself had a funny smell and taste to it. Overall it was inedible and after 1 bite, it was thrown away. Great bar and atmosphere though.

Super crispy crust and an overall good pizza.

Great vibes, solid pizza. A little too much flop for our liking but nonetheless a pretty good slice.

Probably the best sleeper pizza in Nashville. Definitely better than a 6.4. Cheese bread is the best I’ve ever had in my life, pizza was floppy but had great flavor. If it was more charred or had more crisp, it would be an 8+ if you are local I would definitely check it out.
