Horrible. I am a bit lenient when it comes to pizza in Indianapolis, as there aren’t any great pizza places anywhere in the state, but even by that standard Napolese falls short. The best item on the table were the complimentary olives. We ordered 1 “artisanal” pizza and from the first bite I could tell it was a serious disappointment. It became progressively worse as we ate it. Thinking it was a fluke, and for sure that they must have at least a reputable basic pizza, we ordered a Margherita pie. Absolutely an insult to the art of good pizza. This review wouldn’t be so poor if Napolese wouldn’t pride themselves and overcharge so badly. They are definitely drinking their own Kool-Aid when it comes to perception of quality. If you want any halfway decent pizza, do yourself a favor and go to Goodfellas on Mass Ave.
Bonus! If you try to share your opinion of how you didn’t like their pizza, the owner will say that you’re wrong, and their “style of pizza” isn’t for you. Denial, much?
