Palermo’s is a staple South Side Chicago restaurant, and after having their pizza, I can see why. The flaky crust was perfectly thin, and was a perfect vessel for the cheese and sauce. The sauce itself is sweeter than your average pizza sauce, but the taste will have you wanting more. The cheese was well done, and one can tell that this establishment uses high quality ingredients. Like most restaurants on the South Side, the restaurant has a very old school vibe to it. With that being said, this pizza is a must try and worth the drive!
