PIE.ZAA Pizza

Order a specialty slice. It was so good had to order a pep and a cheese for a real score. Great place, great people, and great pizza!

Big slices like these are usually a gimmick, but at least there was some flavor to be found. Crust was standard but it paired nicely with the ‘Zip’ sauce that added a kick. Also, it’s very difficult to find parking here - the fact the town charges nearly $8 in a nearby lot is criminal.

Great pizza. Good sauce. Good crisp. Big slices. Good music.

Great pizza all the way around

I thought it had the perfect crunch even though they asked if I’d like to have another one less cooked. The dipping sauce was great!

Big slice, not bad, sauce could use some work

On first glance the outrageously large pies look enticing, but don’t be fooled, this pizza is terrible. It’s pretty tough to find a bad pizza, yet here we are.

Bigger isn’t always better

Very good pizza especially after drinking beer all day.. my last score was higher, but I give it a solid 7.3 Only reason score is not higher is because it’s a little greasy this time. Very good tho!

Crisp. Pretty good for big slice gimmick pizza.

Considering the size very minimal flop. Not as crispy as I would like. Good flavors. The best NY Style pizza in the area.

Crispiness and undercarriage are perfect. If it had a LITTLE more sauce it would be an 8.5. Huge slice, great pizza. 100% would come back

I am bumping my initial review up an entire point after visiting PIE.ZAA again. The crust was crispy, sauce zesty and I couldn’t get enough. The staff is also great and this is a great place for AVL. 8.1. (New) fair score.

Outstanding crust and pepperoni.

Average. Good texture

Monstrous slice! Sauce was great. Dough was really good. Slightly fermented (some leapording) which gave it a good crunch but still soft/airy. Definitely a good spot!
