Rosangela’s Pizza

One bite app not allowing video posts due to some glitch so I have to post a screenshot. This pizza was disappointing to be honest. There wasn’t much flavor throughout compared to other tavern style spots in the area.

Celebrated a relatives wedding at a local church and I found out this place was just 5-8 minutes away. Just under $18 for this small half pepperoni/half sausage well done. Good cheese and sauce. A little nice char too. Said this over a dozen times with these pizzas. Wish it was just a little thinner. Still a very good pizza and worth trying while on the busy 95th

SouthSide classic by reputation. Place is remodeled and clean with an attentive, friendly staff. Love the crispy flour dough and the cheese is fantastic. Sauce is OK and the sausage was average which brought my rating down. Def recommend a visit, bucket list pizza for sure!

The crunch to this pizza is amazing. I’m not a big pepperoni fan but this pepperoni is tasteful and not heavy on the stomach. The size of the pizza is not accurate to the menu. These people are beyond generous with their prices and sizes. Amazing place.

Best tavern style pizza on the southside. We have been eating this pizza for 50+ years and it is still awesome. Love the cracker crisp crust, the sauce and the sausage they use.

Said to be one of the most popular spots for pizza on the South Side. The crust was cracker flaky, while the dough was thin. Even though the cheese (which Roseangela’s doesn’t skimp on) was nicely caramelized, it didn’t break nicely as you took a bite, causing it all to slide off on your first bite, solely leaving you with crust and sauce. The sauce itself needs work as it was quite acidic, and there was little to no flavor. Looking at the previous reviews, I can tell that some people clearly love pizza from Roseangela’s, but it’s not towards the top of my list by any means.
