So I just left Sally’s after 3 hours!!!!! One hour in line. One to order. And another to eat and get the other 3 pizzas I ordered. But......and this is a big but.... after much struggle and agonizing debate, I have crowned the new champion of pizza....SALLYS APIZZA! The throwback, unchanged pizza parlor and Sinatra classics serenading the patrons added much to the awesome experience but the infamous pizza itself definitely lived up to the hype. The cheese is creamy, the sauce is sweet yet savory and the crust is the perfect well done char yet somehow chewy and floppy. The only reason I’m not giving it a 10 is just for the possibility of there being someone out there who can beat it. For now, this is my perfect slice. 9.8....that’s a review.

Bucket list spot. Very good pizza. I love a well done pie but maybe this one was a little too well done. The crust has a charcoal taste. Still amazing and it didn’t last long.

Amazing... not mind blowing or maybe as good as the hype but it is amazing. The cheese and flavors aren't as good as Pepe's but the sauce is SPECIAL!

Light, Floppy but still amazingly crunchy. Sauce was insanely flavorful. Could eat 100 slices. 9.4/10

Went to the spot tried out all the pizzas. From New Jersey everyone in line was saying best spot. The plain was by far the best and that was a solid 7. All the other pies were not good we had to grab dinner some where else because we were still hungry. Would not recommend waiting an hour for DECENT pizza.

A fun experience living in CT to say I did. The history and legends of the place were intriguing. The pizza was good, the sauce was the highlight of the pizza for me. I wasn’t completely blown away. The Foxon soda on tap was an unexpected touch. If you are ok with waiting about 1.5 hours for pizza and get the full experience this is for you!
