Sally's Apizza

Had zero wait, went for lunch on a Thursday, and got sat right away. I had a plain tomato pie, and a cheese. Both were exceptional. The sauce at Sally’s is very fresh, flavorful, and well done. The dough was spectacular, and the bake was perfection. Charred, not burnt, something I didn’t understand until this visit but now do. Few things live up to their hype, but for me, this was one of them. Fantastic pizza, and the best I was able to enjoy in New Haven, which I’m fairly certain makes it the best I’ll ever have.

Lived up to the hype! Crispier than Frank Pepe’s but similar pie.

Lots of flop, good undercarriage, great sauce. A bit overrated but still very good.

Here’s the thing, it’s exactly what you think it should be, excellent pizza. Unique and good. This is why I came here!

Phenomenal. I think the 9’s are a bit of a overhype, but on a logical scale this is still a stand out pizza with the best undercarriage and sauce out there.

Floppy as can be and service sucked

My pizza tastes are very similar to Dave’s, and I’ve got to say Sally’s is the best pizza I have found so far.
