Good crust wish sauce was a little tangier

What can I say, it’s the pizza capital of the world! Easily better then modern, the za has a nice undercarriage, cheese is high quality, sauce is fresh and the crust is crispy. A well deserved 8.9 the only reason it’s not a 9 is the crust was a little overcooked and there was a little too much sauce.

Good, crisp pizza. Light cheese and great sauce. Not much wrong with it. Probably depends on the pie.

Crust a tad too chard , still amazing. The sauce is phenomenal.

Large cheese apizza, 4pm on a Tuesday Pros: Thin, crispy, off the charts delicious. Great sauce, the texture of the undercarriage and crust is wonderfully thin and crispy. Char flavor underneath and in the crust is spectacular. Cons: Nothing Verdict: I'm not sure if this is the best pizza I ever had. It's either no. 1 or tied for no. 1 with Johnny's in MT Vernon, NY. I had Pepe's down the street just before this (8.9) and even with no appetite I ate this pizza no problem because its a mythical legendary pie. I like Pepe's but Sally could put Frank in a headlock or some kind of full-nelson maneuver, no contest

Amongst the Apizzas of New Haven, Sally’s is truly unique. By far the thinnest of the bunch, this is bar pie at its best. Very fresh, strong tomato flavor may not be for everyone, but this is the type of pizza you just can’t get anywhere else.

Nice thin crust, too much sauce for my taste.
