Perfect Slice of Pizza. Crust is divine.

Great New Haven pizza. Just my style and what I like. Sauce is very good and is nice and crunchy. I’ve been here three times and it’s always worth the travel to get here. One of my favorite pizza spots in Connecticut for sure.

Really good crisp and spectacular undercarriage… Although the crisp is great, I think it hinders some of the potential flavor from this Za.. I liked this pizza but would prefer if there was some more flavor or tang to it. Overall still a very solid pizza. Pepe’s definitely owns Wooster Street tho… New Haven is a grit show 🗣️🗣️🤝🤝🫡🫡 #CTferda

A tad too burnt and took 1 hour to get pizza after ordering

Plain Tomato Pie with Bacon. Unbelievable. I gave Plain with Mozz a 9.4. This though?? Easily the best pizza I’ve ever had. Sauce is unreal. #PizzaPack

Easily the best pizza I’ve had.

It could be that I live in the Carolinas, but this is the best pizza I’ve ever had. That coal fired oven. Pepe’s will be next when I’m in the area for work.

Outstanding pizza. The three amigos- crust, sauce, cheese- complemented each other perfectly. None overpowered the others but together form a formidable trio that reminds you what great pizza is all about. Undercarriage could have been a tad more crispy, but I suppose my fault for not ordering well done. One of the best slices I’ve had. This score was for the cheese and tomato pie, but the potato and rosemary pie was easily the best white pie I’ve ever had. Thinly sliced potatoes, onions cooked just right with the perfect amount of crunch, topped off with the rosemary providing that little extra to round it all out. Amazing.

The best cheese pizza in the United States? Possibly. The sauce has phenomenal flavor and the crust is by far the greatest of all time. Perfect texture and crisp. I wish they didn’t cut it in a million slices but oh well. The rest of the menu is decent but not nearly as good as this cheese. I’m not sure anything will compete with this.

Delicious but overhyped. Sauce is tomato rich with some tang and stands out. Cheese is kinda bland. The crust with char flavor is amazing but the rest of the dough can’t support the weight of the za. Kind of a floppy mess. I thought this would blow my pizza experience out of the water. Not worth a 2.5 hour wait in the snow at all. Good za but not great za
