Sauce Pizzeria

Dave gave it a 9.1 so I had high expectations. Overrated. Crust was cooked well but pretty bland. Sauce was great but not enough. Cheese was good and basil gives it nice flavor. Solid slice but not in the nines.

Well I am a buffoon for taking that photo which doesn’t do justice to the slice. They have the place named sauce for a reason. Outstanding! The crunch and the cheese were on point. The Pats smoked the Bills that night in 2019, perhaps the last time we see that in a while.

My son gives it a 112 but I’ll go with an 8.9. Great slice perfect cheese sauce a tiny bit on sweet side for my liking but still a solid slice. I also had their vodka slice which is a 9.6 in my opinion. By far the best vodka slice I have had. We went late on a Sat night, Had this pizza been fresh out of oven the vodka slice may have been my first 10.

I have eaten at mostly all the top pizza places around and a lot in nyc. This is by far the best single slice shop in the us. Hands down not even close. The customer service they provide is also the best you will get from anywhere else . Visitors to nyc should make this the first stop they have . I know we will. Excellent pizza

8.5 cheese slice. Sweet sauce. Good crisp.

Upside down cheese 8.7 Pepperoni slice 9.1 Without a doubt the best heat lamp slice you can get in New York. It’s the perfect New York slice meets Neapolitan slice!

Saucier than James Harden. Not a basil guy, but if that floats your boat, doesn’t get much better. A great slice that I will be having again. 9.1, that’s the review.

Very good pizza! Good flavor, cheese pie was good, upside down was also pretty good. Basil adds good flavor. Definitely agree with el pres!

Dave scored this pizza above a 9, to be honest it wasn’t that great. It was very floppy and soggy. No crisp and crunch on the dough. Although the Mexican guy who worked there was a very nice hard working guy. But definitely not a pizza I’d go looking for, Boom that’s a review lol

Great place to get a slice. Awesome staff as well. A must have if you come to nyc

Short of the 9.1 Dave scored, but damn good slice. The namesake sauce on the side is a nice addition.
