Angelo's Coal Oven Pizzeria

Excellent in every dimension. This pizza had the perfect texture with a bit of char that enhanced the taste even more. The sauce was amazing. Each slice had minimal flop and I enjoyed every bit of it including the crust. Also, this pizza wasn’t overly filling, it was just the right amount of food. I highly recommend this pizza if you’re in the area!

Somehow I’ve never reviewed this spot despite being here a couple of times. Classic coal fire pizza with light char. Quality ingredients. Not too greasy.

Perfect crust, amazing char and the sauce + cheese was gorgeous. The pepperoni cups were fantastic too. Best pizza in the city, easily.

I don’t think it hits 9.3, but still damn good. Love the history of the restaurant.

It’s a great pie. Sauce perfection. Wanted a bit more cheese but damn good pizza. Also, don’t miss the meatballs. Service=exceptional!

Not going to find a better pizza in this style. Really solid. Classic thin and then gets thicker toward the crust. Only gripe is the crust is a hair too thick. World class pizza though.

Looks not the best but tastes magnificent

Ordered the old school 13”, it was a good pizza, but didn’t blow our socks off. The crust is thick, but we both felt we needed to dip it if that makes sense, a great pizza doesn’t need a dip. The sauce was fresh and the base was crisp but not too crisp.

Great pizza , 13 inch is enough for one , it’s like a Italy style pizza mixed with NYC pizza
