Pizza Review
Had this place on my bucket list for a while now. Walking into this old-school pizzeria and seeing their old school coal oven from 1917 was an awesome experience. Makes me livid that the idiot mayor in NYC is getting to get rid of these gems bc these climate activists. 10% of the population shouldn't change our history and what makes our country great. Back to the pizza, this thing had zero flop. First time I haven't used the NY fold. Pizza had great crisp, quality low moisture cheese and a dusting of Pecorino Romano throughout the pie. They used quality tomatoes but wished it was better seasoned. It's not my favorite crust either, which held back from being in 9's. It's still an awesome pie and reminded me of Roseland Apizza, but less greasy. It was worth a visit, and the staff is really friendly. They close between 1:30-4 to cool the oven. Make sure you get there as soon as they open or by 3:30 to ensure you get a pie as they go fast.
