Great scores are born from great opportunity. That’s what this pie has here tonight, boys. That’s what this pie has earned here tonight. The gold medalist of all pizzas, Mr. Frank Pepe’s. Since 1925 this family owned joint has prided themselves on the best Napoletana style pizza around and over my 22 years, it has never disappointed. Crispy-charred crust, sweet tasteful sauce, and fresh hot mozzarella combined with the old coal brick oven, make this legend of a pie. Everybody knows Pepe’s is pizza and pizza is Pepe’s.

I really enjoyed it. Not sure what I would do different to male it even better. No flop great tastes and it moves super fast even though there's a line. Pizza gets there quick

Pepe’s is always on point for the sauce, the cook was nice, it’s an iconic landmark for New Haven and always looking to stand tall next to its rival a block down.

Love the crust and taste but I have to question Dave on this. it’s just ok. Thought it was very chewy and not enough sauce, however the sauce was very tasty.

2nd best pizza in CT, only behind Sally’s. So much history in this place, and it lives up to the hype. Outstanding crust, flavor, and char. Always a fantastic pie and experience and worth the long wait.
