Said to be one of the most popular spots for pizza on the South Side. The crust was cracker flaky, while the dough was thin. Even though the cheese (which Roseangela’s doesn’t skimp on) was nicely caramelized, it didn’t break nicely as you took a bite, causing it all to slide off on your first bite, solely leaving you with crust and sauce. The sauce itself needs work as it was quite acidic, and there was little to no flavor. Looking at the previous reviews, I can tell that some people clearly love pizza from Roseangela’s, but it’s not towards the top of my list by any means.
