Sally's Apizza

Really good pizza, the crust was a great crunch and solid flavor.

Sally’s is short for Salvatore, fun fact. The tomato was delish but does flop up, garlic is subtle but noteworthy, even the cheese was a bit floppier than expected in the middle, likely depends on how long it’s cooked so it happens. The sauce is fantastic and style originated without cheese bc it was left out and can’t have ingredients that go bad. I still slightly prefer cheese pie but it’s good either way depending on your mood. White potato is fine if you’re in the mood but not my thing.

lots of hype and expectations especially when you enter the state of Conn. and the state welcome sign on the freeway when u enter the state is “Pizza Capital of the World “ Is it ? Well Sally’s didn’t disappoint, very very good pie a little oily but still good , I got the cheese and tomato sauce with pep n sausage , all was good , good undercarriage, supposed to be thin but was a little thicker no crunch but the crust edge had plenty . Worth the drive , yes !

Best pizza ever. Sauce is so tasty, cheese is flavorful and just the right amount of burn. Thin and perfect undercarriage and the perfect char on the crust. Just a little flop toward the center. I could of ate the whole pie.

The stinger is the best pizza I’ve ever had.

The cheese with added garlic/basil. Was OK. Not worth waiting in line for 45 min to get in. Service also OK. Not great

It lived up to the hype. Great crisp. Great sauce. Great cheese. I was sad when the experience was over. Could have been a 9+. I was probably stingy with the rating. It’s definitely a “make the detour if you’re in the area” pizza.

There is simply no other place in the world that makes this pizza in this way. They take their time to fully bake the pizza. Very tomato based, some cheese. Crust crunch to die for. Worth the wait. Keep it going strong!

not as good as we expected, not worth a 2.5 hour drive for sure, much better places back home!!! Dave you need to come to Aquidneck Island!!!!

Drove 5.5 hours… I love the crust and the char. The sauce is good, just different than what I was expecting. I can still eat the whole pizza and it was a great pizza.
