Fermento Pizza NYC

Deliciousness is the deciding factor. You don’t have to believe the hype. This pizza was not delicious— sauce limp, cheese bland. The crust is impressive— thin and crispy. Kudos to them for using healthier flour, too. It has that new-haute-tickle the prez kinda vibe. Sound perfect? The actual pie doesn’t come through. If you want an 8.5 fuggetaboutit and go straight to Carmine and 6th.

Light, clean, sweet. Very crispy.

If there was a little less EVOO drizzle, it would be a high 8. Lovely dough, good sauce to cheese ratio.

Great pizza , great crunch and cheese and sauce ratio is on point but i wish the sauce was a bit punchier on the plain, the vodka is gas though

Archetypal new school NYC slice. Thin & crispy with good & light flavor. Not quite as good good as L’Industrie but better than Lucia

the regular is 9.6 one of the best regular slices i’ve ever had . the sicilian is 8.2 . i came here for the sicilian originally but the regular looked so good . sicilian is light and airy . not in this rating is the gluten free detroit . i had a bite because my companions ordered it. if you didn’t tell me i wouldn’t know .it was really good

Under-the-radar hidden gem pizza. The crust was the real star — perfectly fermented, light and crispy with zero flop, yet still had that satisfying chew. The sauce-to-cheese ratio was balanced perfectly, topped with quality Parmesan and fresh basil. You can taste the fresh ingredients in every bite. If you’re visiting NYC, this is an absolute must-try. Next time, I’m ordering it fresh out of the oven.

Honored to be the first review for this spot. 🫡 The West Village continues to offer some of the best pizza in Manhattan. Ordered regular and Sicilian, both are worth a try. Even though they were reheated, tasted of high quality with its ingredients. Really liked the crust - has that airy, crispy mix.
